The GBCHAA, Inc. is a 501c3 organization. Any cash donation made to the group is completely tax deductible.

Fundraising
Throughout the year, the GBCHAA holds several fundraising events as well as some money-making projects that are ongoing:
Held during the Medicine Lodge Area Chamber of Commerce
Christmas Open House in November, our Silent Auction features baked goods, craft items and collectibles. Be sure to come by and place a bid!
The
Greater Barber County Historical Action Association, Inc. has created
"Country Cooking,"
a book of favorite recipes contributed by current and past residents of Barber
County, Kansas.
The book features family recipes, handed down through generations and pieces of Barber County history, told as only family can tell.
Cookbooks are available for $12.95 each at Schiff's Cabinet Shop or from any GBCHAA member.
At one time, there were over 28 towns in our county. Nowadays, there
are only 8 incorporated cities left, but you can see for yourself where the
historical towns of Lodi, Stubb, Lasswell and others were once located.
Purchase one of our beautiful, woven, historical Barber County Throws for $45.00 plus tax. Available in Hunter Green, Country Blue and Cranberry, these throws feature a map of Barber County, names and locations of all 28 historical and current towns as well as a representation from each incorporated town depicting a particular point of historic pride.
